Susan Westlake |
Susan Westlake is of counsel in K&L’s Intellectual Property practice. Ms. Westlake’s practice focuses on trademarks and all aspects of brand identity.
Ms. Westlake graduated magna cum laude and received her J.D. in 1979 from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was an editor of the Law Review. She received her B.S. in Ed. from the University of Michigan.
Prior to moving to New York in 1986, Ms. Westlake practiced at the San Diego law firm Luce, Forward, Hamilton, & Scripps. A corporate attorney at Luce Forward, Ms. Westlake founded the firm’s intellectual property practice. Ms. Westlake was then for many years Trademark Counsel for the restaurant division of PepsiCo, Inc, overseeing responsibility for all brand identity and trademark issues of Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and KFC. She also practiced at GE.
Ms. Westlake is admitted to practice in New York and California.
